Quickstart
Record your first Stera session, upload it, and view it on the FPV Labs platform.
The flow
The canonical Stera capture loop is three steps:
record → upload → view
Sessions are processed on-device, then uploaded straight from the app. Once on the platform, you can validate and access them for downstream work.
Record
Open the app and start a session. The app captures synchronized RGB, LiDAR depth (Pro models), 6-DOF camera pose, and IMU while you perform the task you want to demonstrate.
Hold the phone steady, keep the subject in frame, and stop recording when done.
Save
The session is processed on-device into an MCAP recording. This happens automatically once you stop recording, no extra action needed.
Upload
Tap upload on the saved session. Uploads are handled directly inside the app flow and stream to your FPV Labs account.
Better input = better data. Better data = more useful outputs. Machines learn from what you show them — frame your captures with that in mind.
