Installation
Where to get the Stera iOS app, supported devices, and what each device captures.
Requirements
- iOS 14 or newer.
- iPhone Pro after iPhone 12 pro is recommended for full-fidelity capture (LiDAR-equipped).
Get the app
Stera is available on the App Store. You can also find product info and links on the FPV Labs website.
Supported devices
The app runs on most modern iPhones, but the modalities you capture depend on the hardware:

LiDAR is what gives you reliable depth and stable spatial structure. If your downstream pipeline depends on depth (most do), use a Pro model.
Verify the install
After installing:
- Open the app and sign in with your FPV Labs account.
- Grant Camera, Motion, and Location permissions when prompted.
- Hit record on a short test session and confirm it appears in the in-app session list.
